YUGA LABS
SELECTED WORK
I’ve worked with Yuga Labs from 2022 to 2026, contributing as a Senior Artist across major Web3 and NFT projects, including BAYC, Otherside, Meebits, Moonbirds, HV-MTL, Legends of the Mara, and Nexus. My role spanned character design and concept development, virtual world-building, and visual storytelling.
Throughout this time, I developed a strong ability to adapt quickly within fast-paced environments while maintaining clarity in visual direction. I’m highly attuned to what works for a brand, including its tone, audience, and overall image, and skilled at translating that understanding into cohesive, impactful creative work that supports both storytelling and long-term brand growth.

OTHERSIDE
KODA CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Art director: Jessie Bustin
I worked as the concept artist on Mega Koda, designing the rarest tier of Koda, the first-generation signature characters of Otherside. My responsibility was to create character designs that reflected the themes and natural elements of each land type, ensuring they felt authentic to the world’s lore.
Designed the rarest tier of first-generation Koda for Otherside, including the original Celestial series. Each character was crafted to reflect the unique themes and natural elements of its land type—such as Botanical, Shadow, Mycelium, and others. The Celestial subset became especially recognized for its refined details, symbolic motifs, and luminous aesthetic.

HV-MTL
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Art director: Jessie Bustin
HV-MTL is an NFT character collection featuring six mech-inspired evolution classes, each designed with distinct personalities, functions, and aesthetics. As a senior concept artist on the project, I was responsible for concepting and designing character directions, with a particular focus on leading the development of the Celestial-inspired extension series. Building on the strong visual identity I had established in previous projects, I introduced a refined, luminous aesthetic that quickly became a community favorite. Upon release, this subset received significant praise and was widely recognized as one of the most standout design directions within the entire HV-MTL collection.

LEGEND OF THE MARA (LOTM)
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Creative Director: Long Vu
Art director: Germán Reina Carmona
In the Legends of the Mara (LOTM) project by Yuga Labs, I served as one of the Lead Concept Artist, responsible for shaping the core visual identity of the entire collection. My work centered on guiding character development, establishing world-building aesthetics, and ensuring every design element remained consistent, immersive, and aligned with the project’s narrative direction. This included setting visual standards, refining stylistic language, and maintaining a high bar for artistic quality across all assets.

MOONBIRD
NFT RE-DEVELOPMENT
Art director: Collin Hesterly
For the Moonbirds project, I helped reimagine one of the most recognizable pixel-style NFT characters after Yuga Labs acquired the IP. Our goal was to evolve Moonbirds beyond its original pixel aesthetic into a fully realized contemporary character while preserving its core spirit. I collaborated with original artist Colin Hesterly to reinterpret the character’s personality, silhouette, and visual identity in a way that honored its roots and expanded its narrative potential.
Alongside defining the new artistic direction, I supported production workflows and asset development, ensuring the designs met both creative and technical standards. The result marked a new visual chapter for Moonbirds while retaining the charm that resonated with its community.

KODA NEXUX
WORLD DEVELOPMENT
Creative director: Collin Hesterly
Art Director: Lea Dickert, Ingram Schell
Koda Nexus is one of Yuga Labs’ most ambitious initiatives, designed as a persistent virtual hub that redefines accessibility, world-building, and community interaction within the Otherside ecosystem. It represents a shift in Web3 toward immersive, open digital environments shaped by narrative and design rather than asset-gated access.
As a concept artist on the project, I helped define the visual direction of Koda Nexus. I designed key environments and assets, establishing the tone, atmosphere, and cohesive visual language of the world, contributing to its development as a fully realized and evolving digital space.

KODA NEXUX
STARFIELD GALLERY
The Koda Nexus Starfield Museum is a dedicated virtual gallery within the Nexus world, created to highlight artistic interpretations that deepen the atmosphere and mythology of Otherside. For this project, I was selected as the sole featured artist, contributing an exclusive body of work crafted specifically for the Nexus environment. Drawing inspiration from the world’s narrative, energy, and visual language, I created 14 unique pieces that explore its symbolic and abstract dimensions. These artworks are displayed throughout the Starfield Museum, offering players an immersive cultural experience and establishing a distinct artistic identity within the evolving Nexus universe.
