I’m Yian Lee, a multidisciplinary artist/designer from Taiwan based in New York. My work explores the intersection of spiritual abstract geometry, fantasy visual storytelling, and digital art. I blend tarot, astrology, and mysticism into a unique visual language that examines the relationship between form, color, energy, and consciousness. Through this fusion, I’ve been developing my own symbolic and intuitive system of spiritual art.

In 2016, I moved to New York to study Fashion Marketing at Parsons School of Design. During this time, I began my creative journey as a fashion stylist, and my work has been featured in global fashion publications such as Vogue Taiwan, Harper’s Bazaar, Nylon Germany, ELLE Serbia, Schön, and Vanity Teen. In 2020, I held my first solo exhibition Color Geometry at Chinatown Soup Gallery, exploring the visual dialogue between color and form. That same year, I received the O1-B Extraordinary Ability Artist Visa and transitioned into illustration and digital art, gradually forming my signature artistic style.

Over the years, I’ve collaborated with a wide range of brands and creative platforms such as CIRCOLOCO, PENKER, Siizu, and AVEC THY—working across illustration, art direction, and styling. My work has been featured in publications like dpi Magazine, SHOUTOUTLA, Alien Magazine, and Popshot, and recognized by the iJungle Illustration Awards and the Communication Arts Illustration Competition. These multidisciplinary experiences have allowed me to navigate fluidly between commercial projects and fine art practices, continuously expanding the ways in which spiritual and symbolic art can take shape in the digital age.

I’ve worked with Yuga Labs from 2022 to 2026, contributing as a Senior Artist across major Web3 and NFT projects, including BAYC, Otherside, Meebits, Moonbirds, HV-MTL, Legends of the Mara, and Nexus. My role spanned character design and concept development, virtual world-building, and visual storytelling.

Throughout this time, I developed a strong ability to adapt quickly within fast-paced environments while maintaining clarity in visual direction. I’m highly attuned to what works for a brand, including its tone, audience, and overall image, and skilled at translating that understanding into cohesive, impactful creative work that supports both storytelling and long-term brand growth.
